Didn't stay at the hotel but visited and had some food there on the way to a Wedding in a Wool Shed in Feb 2008!! Got my passport stamped with the famous Whonga stamp too! Great place!

We cycled from Stratford to Whangamomona return mid April (4 adults and 3 kids aged 10-11). Had a blast! Whangamomona Hotel was fantastic! Cosy, family friendly and very welcoming. Enjoyed the hosts warm hospitality and sense of humour. They even baked a birthday cake for us! Highly recommended. We'll be back!
